Our DFRC Blue-Gold High school Participants - Ambassadors, Band Members, Cheerleaders, and Football Players - play an important function in the success of the DFRC Blue-Gold program and the DFRC mission to enrich lives of Delawareans with intellectual disABILITIES. Many of the students choose to participate in our Hand-in-Hand Program where they are matched with children and younger adults with mental disABILITIES - our Blue-Gold All★Star Buddies - to share their Blue-Gold expertise leading as much as Game Day. Each month of the program, there are statewide events- a dance social gathering, bowling outings, a pool celebration, and more! - organized by the DFRC Blue-Gold Committee. Participants and Buddies typically get collectively between events to see films, go to school occasions, or simply talk and hold out together.
