The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and robot vacuum and mop walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and robot Vacuum and mop allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving forward.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could need. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping mode of the best robot vacuum cleaner robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features however they can push the L10s into the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
